Dear readers,

My name is Mylène. I am 24 years old and a French Canadian from Montreal. I am currently studying in Organizational Communications at the University and I hope to finally finish in two years... even though I have no idea what I want to do precisely. If I could get paid to read books and review them, I think that would be the perfect career for me!

Throughout this blog, you will become familiar with my different passions:

1. Of course, I am a fan of Young Adults and Contemporary novels. I read a lot (too much) and it's starting to really affect my bank account

2. Music is probably my first passion since it has been a part of me for so long. I love punk music going from Blink-182 to The Story so Far to Green Day to Underoath or Taking Back Sunday. I'm obsessed with so many bands, I can't name them all. However if you want to talk about music with my, do not hesitate to write to me. I could blab all night!

3. I love to watch sports on TV. Like a lot. Living in the Great White North, I don't have any choice but to enjoy hockey. I'm a Habs fan, of course. I really love to watch Golf and Baseball as well.

4. Going to see a band perform live on stage is probably the most liberal thing I can feel. For 2 hours, I can be entirely absorb in the music and in sing-alongs with the people around me. It's the only place in the world that I feel like I belong, because I am surrounded by people who share the same affection for the band in front of us. It's incredible.

5. I want to travel the world. I haven't been to many places, mostly a few cities in the US, France, Guatemala and Cuba. However, I have been to Florida many many times (I have lost count) and I have to say that I have deep feelings for this state. Of course the hot weather plays a role, but to me it really is a place where my best memories are gathered peacefully.
